Grout Color Sealing

There are several options for sealing grout tiles. You can have them sealed with a clear sealant or with a particular choice of color sealant. The advantages of having a color sealant includes protection from stains, makes your grout line waterproof, and any dirt or spills can be cleaned up with more ease than a clear sealant would offer. Color sealing blocks out pre-existing stains or color blemishes in your grout lines. Color sealers repel water-based and oil-based liquids, as well as some mild acid-based liquids such as coffee and red wine. The color sealant protects against stains caused by most foods and protects the surface from dirt and impurities. The color sealer also contains agents to reduce bacteria and mildew from forming on it.
